Lucknow (pronunciation (help·info), Hindi: लखनऊ, Urdu: لکھنؤ, Lakhnaū ) is the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state of India. Lucknow is also the administrative headquarters of Lucknow District and Lucknow Division.
